Bob's Paintings & Drawings

He’s an artist, he don’t look back…

Bob’s artistry extends from the song and the written word to the visual arts. He’s been a painter since way back. His paintings span portraits and other studies of people; landscapes and visions of America; common objects and scenes from his travels and more, all created in a style that is unique and highly recognizable though changing over the years – like his music!

You can view all of Bob’s collections including the 2025  Point Blank  series at Castle Fine Art and Halcyon Gallery.

With releases in 2018 and 2020, Mondo Scripto is a collection that features a selection of some of Bob’s most iconic lyrics, each originally hand-written by him in pen on paper and accompanied by a pencil drawing. View Bob’s own visual representations of his lyrics HERE!

Bob's Iron Works

Clouds so swift
Rain won’t lift
Gate won’t close
Railings froze

Bob said this about ‘Mood Swings,’ his iron works exhibit, when it was first released: ‘I’ve been around iron all my life ever since I was a kid. I was born and raised in iron ore country – where you could breathe it and smell it every day. And I’ve always worked with it in one form or another. Gates appeal to me because of the negative space they allow. They can be closed but at the same time they allow the seasons and breezes to enter and flow. They can shut you out or shut you in. And in some ways there is no difference.’
